The world
A basement in 1987. A game that seemed to be over. And little creatures whose adventure is only just beginning. El Refugio grows out of that moment when a map, a few dice and a group of friends become something more.
You bring the imagination. We bring the table.

ATLAS · THE GAME MASTER
Atlas represents the game master: the person who draws the first path and lets the group discover many more. Building a map opens up possibilities for the next session.
At the heart of the game
The game master sets the scene, gives its inhabitants a voice and prepares encounters. Maps are where the story begins, not where it ends.
Exploration, dice and turn-based combat support the session. Conversation and the group's ideas stay at the heart of the experience.
Elemental slimes, knowing looks and exaggerated expressions. A way to be present at the table and make it your own.

El Refugio 1987 is in development. We will share news and official links here when it becomes available. If you are press or a publisher, see the press kit.
A human game master prepares and runs the session. The group roleplays their characters and decides how to respond: the story comes from you.
We want to bring roleplaying to groups with different levels of experience. A game master, imagination and a desire to share a story are the starting point.
You bring the imagination. We bring the table.
